The 12th Street Community Garden was established through a partnership between the Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program Class of 2015-2016 and the 12th Street Community Center.

 

The vision for the 12th Street Community Garden began with the idea of a garden that would provide the Junction City community with an opportunity to cultivate and experience healthy eating, outdoor activity, and foster a welcoming network of people to share in the joys of gardening. 

 

Through discussion and collaboration between the City of Junction City's Parks & Recreation Department, the 12th Street Community Center, community members, and many other businesses who have lent their support, the 12th Street Community Garden has become more than just an idea.
